About the Role
As a Sylvan Teacher, you’ll deliver personalized instruction in math and/or ELA using our proven, engaging programs. You’ll create balanced, fun learning sessions that help elementary students grow — all in a low-pressure, rewarding setting.

Availability during school hours (Monday–Thursday, mornings and early afternoons) is essential for this position.
What You’ll Do:
Greet and engage students, making every session welcoming and inspiring
Teach using Sylvan’s structured, research-based math and ELA programs
Celebrate progress with praise, encouragement, and Sylvan tokens
Track student growth and communicate successes with center staff
Help maintain a safe, positive, and motivating environment

A genuine passion for motivating and inspiring students
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Flexibility, problem-solving ability, and a team-player attitude
Degree in Education, Mathematics, English, or related field is a plus
